| Bongo Comics debuted their 'Simpsons Comic Strip' in January 1999 in the UK in The Times as part of their Saturday 'Meg@' magazine. The comic strips soon became weekly fodder in over 50 newspapers in the U.S. alone and reaching an audience of about 14 million subscribers weekly. The strips range from short stories to fake ads, from movie poster parodies to school survival techniques, and even Simpsons-style horoscopes and a placemat from a Krustyburger restaurant. |
